Blockedchain appeared in July 2017 in São Paulo, when vocalist and guitarist Eduardo Jmez made an invitation to drummer and old friend Renato Menezes, partner of previous musical projects like Error-36 and Inshock, to create and execute drum lines for a guide of music that he had sketched_ During the first rehearsal, new ideas and innovations were emerging that could change and enhance a new musical concept within the style of modern metal_ In this essay, the musical structure was practically finished, and a few days later, vocal lines and other details were being added_ At the beginning of October, the musical concept was being perfected_ The idea of ​​using technology to create sound atmospheres using samplers and synthesizers has expanded production possibilities_
From this insight, the name Blockedchain came up, which refers to the concept "Blockchain" that has become a disruption in the world of technology, innovating the entire financial market with digital currencies_ This entire environment is based on lyrics that refer to analogies between technology and human essence, bringing to consciousness concepts worthy of reflection_ In mid-2018, Danilo Moura and Abuin Junior join the formation providing even more freedom of creation, resulting in the fusion of this technological sound atmosphere with the punch of the bases created amid the low tuning of the guitar, bass and double pedals results in a sound massive, rich in sounds and rhythms_

Blockedchain informs its worldwide release, in digital format, of the debut album entitled “OMNI | VISION”_ This album is a presentation and representation of an innovative concept in modern brazilian metal, which has the motivation of technology as a great ally, so that, we believe we have a new sound experience with powerful riffs, effects and melodies_ The online and physical versions album is scheduled for release in the second half of 2020 and will be supported by MS Metal Agency and distributed by Voice Music in the United States, Europe and Japan_
